Joel S. Aronson has first chaired over 50 jury trials and dozens of non-jury trials. He concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, with a particular focus on creditor’s rights issues and the representation of clients in the lending and financial industries.

Creditors Rights

  • Represents commercial lenders and captive finance companies in a variety of commercial disputes and litigation matters.
  • Regional counsel for several of the nation’s largest SBA lenders.
  • Represents creditors and bankruptcy trustees in both chapter 11 and chapter 7 cases.
  • Brings and defends fraudulent conveyance, preference and lift stay actions.

Commercial Litigation

  • Represents automotive dealerships and companies involved in the automotive industry in a wide range of commercial disputes.
  • Represents clients in trademark and copyright litigation.
  • Well-versed in the use of alternative dispute resolution processes in order to resolve disputes without resorting to costly and time-consuming litigation.
  • Active employment law practice, counseling clients on employment matters, conducting in-house training programs, developing alternative dispute resolution programs for employers.
  • Enforces restrictive covenants and protects trade secrets
